I will ask the questions and listen to the answers to gauge where you're coming from. I will proceed only when I am satisfied that I fully understand what's really important for you what you wish to achieve.
Sometimes clients come to me with very clear ideas about what they want. I have no problem with that, I am happy to work to a tight brief, and I aim to work together to build on these initial ideas to produce original and captivating design solutions.
Equally, I am content to work to a loose brief with a specific objective. Many clients have come to me with just the seed of an idea. The '...we know what we want, but we don't know how to get there' scenario. Working closely together with such clients I help to map out the project and oversee it's development to fruition.
I know my limits and sometimes a project may exceed my knowledge base or require specialist third-party assistance. I am skilled in researching, commissioning and integrating third-party products and applications.
The testimonials which I have published on this website come from my many happy clients.
This question makes any design a real challenge. Design is, by it's very nature, highly subjective. What appeals to one person may not appeal to another.
Where do you start, how to you get to a result that satisfies the client, and arguably more importantly satisfies the needs of the customer?
You may not know exactly what you want to start with but one thing is certain, as soon as a design is on the table you will have something to say about it.
The answer lies in starting with multiple ideas, based on thorough research. Designing multiple visual concepts not only presents different solutions, but also allows you to get involved.
To take the food analogy a little further: imagine you are in a pizza restaurant and are presented with just one choice of pizza - you'll either like it or you won't. Imagine now that you have three pizzas to choose from and you can sample a slice of each one. There's going to be a favourite, but perhaps your pizza would be better with some of the topping from one of the others?
This is how multiple visuals concepts work.
We can work together to modify and fine tune a design until it exactly meets with your requirements.
